Modelling Objectives, Processes and Information: UML and BPMN for Designing IT Solutions

This course introduces the value of modelling techniques in requirements engineering and their role in improving the clarity, consistency, and completeness of requirements specifications.

Participants will discover how models can be used to represent business objectives, information structures, and system behaviour. The course provides an introduction to widely used modelling standards and techniques, including UML and BPMN, and offers hands-on practice in applying these techniques to data-oriented business applications.

Through practical exercises and tool-based activities, participants will gain the skills needed to create and interpret models that facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders.
