UX Audit Essentials: Evaluating Your Design Through Usability Criteria

During this course, participants will learn foundations of doing usability and user experience (UX) audits. They will gain an understanding of usability criteria, such as the 10 heuristics and Gestalt principles, and learn how to build an evaluation grid to conduct an UX audit on their own. The course will also cover how to write an analysis report with structured results, strategic recommendations and a project roadmap.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, learners will be able to

  • assess designs against usability standards, 
  •  prioritize improvements to create more intuitive, user-friendly interfaces,
  • develop the right usability mindset, enabling you to build interfaces that are human-centered from the start.

A basic understanding of usability and user experience is required, for example from an "Introduction to User Experience" class.
