Own the Room: Deliver Presentations that Captivate, Convince and Drive Action (ATOMIC SPEAKER-EN)

Atomic Speaker is designed for anyone who needs to speak occasionally with high stakes (training, committee, project presentation, plenary session). The programme turns participants into "architects" of their messages: able to set a clear objective, build a storyline, craft key messages and deliver them with impact. Beyond structure, the training strengthens on-stage presence (voice, posture, body language) and helps manage nerves to build confidence and buy-in. Participants practise simple engagement techniques (questions, interaction, storytelling, vivid examples) and learn to use supporting materials (PowerPoint, whiteboard, digital tools, video, handouts) to amplify the message without being dominated by the format. Between sessions, each participant works on a real (or fictional) case to design their presentation. The second module focuses on pitching and peer co-development: delivering an excerpt, receiving structured feedback, group coaching and refinements. The approach is pragmatic and immediately actionable, with continuous improvement through feedback and impact assessment.

This module will cover:

• Structuring high-impact messages: objective, storyline, key messages.
• Public speaking fundamentals: presence, voice, posture, time management and managing nerves.
• Engagement techniques: questions, interaction, storytelling, examples.
• Media & tools: PowerPoint, Miro, video, whiteboard, handouts - choose and simplify.
• Assessing impact: collect feedback, adjust live, improve between speaking engagements.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Define the objective of a speaking engagement and formulate a clear central message.
• Build a structured presentation (storyline) and persuasive key messages.
• Strengthen presence (voice, posture, body language) and manage nerves.
• Engage the audience and choose relevant supporting materials to amplify the message.
• Put in place simple feedback to measure and improve impact.

Combination of structured inputs, demonstrations, guided exercises and role plays.
