Multi-Cloud Administration

This course provides an intermediate-level introduction to multi-cloud administration for IT professionals, infrastructure staff, and technical managers who need to work across major cloud platforms. Focusing on AWS, Azure, and GCP, the course explores the core administrative concepts required to manage cloud resources consistently across environments.

Participants will examine cloud service models, identity and access management, compute and storage services, virtual networking, security controls, and monitoring practices. By the end of the course, learners will be able to compare core services across platforms and apply practical administration principles to common multi-cloud scenarios.

Content

- Cloud computing fundamentals and service models

- Public, private, and hybrid cloud deployment models

- Multi-cloud administration across AWS, Azure, and GCP

- Identity and access management (IAM) and RBAC

- Compute services: virtual machines, containers, and serverless

- Storage services: block, object, and file storage

- Virtual networking, subnetting, and IP addressing

- Security controls, encryption, and key management

- Monitoring, logging, and basic troubleshooting

- Infrastructure automation and operational best practices

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the training, learners will be able to...

- compare cloud service models and deployment approaches across AWS, Azure, and GCP

- configure basic identity and access controls for multi-cloud environments

- select appropriate compute and storage services for common infrastructure needs

- organise core networking and security components in a multi-cloud architecture

- use monitoring and logging tools to support routine administration and troubleshooting

Training Method

This course combines instructor-led presentation, guided demonstrations, real-world examples, and practical exercises to develop core multi-cloud administration skills. Learners will work through representative administration tasks across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a focus on comparing services, applying security and networking principles, and interpreting monitoring data. Course materials include slides, guided activities, and practical examples that support transfer of learning to professional environments.
