Google Workspace AI: From Co-Pilot to Autonomous Agent
For business professionals, AI is no longer a novelty—it is a productivity engine. This masterclass bridges the gap between ad-hoc AI assistance and structural automation. It is designed for power users who want to leverage the full capabilities of Google Workspace to reduce administrative overhead and focus on high-value strategy.
Targeting business users and professionals, this 2-day intensive course follows a continuous "Product Launch" scenario. Participants will start by conducting Deep Research on a market, building a "Digital Twin" Gem to handle communication, and then systematically creating every asset needed for the launch. You will generate data insights in Sheets, presentations in Slides, and promotional videos in Google Vids—all derived from your initial research. Finally, the course culminates in Workspace Studio, where you will build autonomous workflows using natural language to manage the project going forward.
Content
- Deep Research & Strategy: Using Gemini Advanced to research markets and export structured reports (Docs) and datasets (Sheets).
- The Assistant (Gems): configuring a "Digital Twin" Gem with specific persona and knowledge to standardize tasks.
- Smart Communication (Gmail): Analysing inboxes and drafting contextual replies using Gems and Drive referencing.
- Visual Documentation (Docs): Using Smart Canvas and Nano Banana to create professional, visually rich reports.
- Data Intelligence (Sheets): Generating formulas, PivotTables, and insights using natural language prompts.
- Presentation Design (Slides): Converting written reports into slide decks and generating speaker notes with Gems.
- Video Production (Vids): Creating storyboards and video assets from existing Slides and documents.
- Knowledge Management (Drive): Using semantic search to query file repositories.
- Automation (Workspace Studio): Building cross-app workflows using natural language triggers.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, participants will be able to :
- Conduct complex market analysis using Deep Research and export structured data and reports directly to Google Docs and Sheets.
- Design and configure custom "Gems" (AI Assistants) with specific personas and knowledge bases to automate role-specific writing and analysis tasks.
- Analyze datasets in Google Sheets by generating formulas, charts, and PivotTables using natural language prompts.
- Transform written strategy documents into visual assets, including professional slide decks (Slides) and video teasers (Google Vids) using Nano Banana.
- Construct automated business workflows in Workspace Studio to connect different apps (e.g., Gmail to Sheets) without writing code.
- Apply prompt engineering best practices to reduce hallucinations and ensure brand consistency across all generated content.
Training Method
The course follows a pipeline scenario of launching a new product. Each module builds upon the assets created in the previous one (e.g., the Docs report creates the Slides; the Slides create the Video).
Each thematic block is structured to ensure deep understanding and practical capability. The session begins with Theory to explain key concepts (such as Prompt Architecture), followed by a Live Demonstration where the instructor showcases the workflow. This leads into a Guided Practice segment where participants apply the concept to the Product Launch scenario on their own devices, finishing with a Review and Q&A session to consolidate learning.
The goal is practical application. By the end of the session, participants will transition from passive AI users to active architects of their own AI-enhanced workflows.
