ELEMENTS OF AI – Talk Time: Vibe Coding: From Idea to Application with AI
Vibe Coding is a new development paradigm where you describe what you want in natural language and let AI generate the code. Coined by Andrej Karpathy in 2024 and already adopted by 87% of Fortune 500 companies, this approach is transforming how software is built.
This Talk Time session provides a hands-on introduction to Vibe Coding for all professionals, regardless of their technical background. Through live demonstrations and concrete examples, participants will discover how to go from an idea to a working prototype in just minutes. The session covers the fundamentals of Large Language Models (LLMs), the key tools and platforms available (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable), and the practical methodology for creating applications through conversational development. We will also address critical topics such as data confidentiality, AI limitations (hallucinations, validation), and the governance framework needed to move from prototype to production. Whether you are a manager, analyst, HR professional, or entrepreneur, this session will show you how Vibe Coding can accelerate your workflow and unlock new possibilities. No programming knowledge is required.
Content
This session will cover the following points:
- What is Vibe Coding? History, definition, and how Large Language Models (LLMs) work
- Live demonstration: building a functional application from scratch in 15 minutes
- The Vibe Coding ecosystem: tools, models, and protocols (MCP, Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable)
- Limitations and best practices: confidentiality, hallucinations, validation, and governance
- How to get started: practical roadmap and recommended tools for your first Vibe Coding project
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, the participant will be able to:
- Understand what Vibe Coding is and how Large Language Models enable conversational software development
- Identify the main tools and platforms for Vibe Coding and select the most appropriate one for their needs
- Recognize the limitations of AI-generated code and apply governance best practices for moving from prototype to production
- Start their own Vibe Coding journey using accessible tools such as Claude.ai, Lovable, or Cursor
Training Method
This session will combine short theoretical introductions with live demonstrations and interactive discussions. Participants will observe real-time application building using AI tools and will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss use cases relevant to their own professional context.
