ELEMENTS OF AI – Talk Time: The Luxembourgish “Language Machine”: New Tools for Luxembourgish AI

This course introduces the Sproochmaschinn platform (sproochmaschinn.lu) as a practical gateway to modern language technology for Luxembourgish, placing it within the broader context of digital linguistics and applied AI. It is relevant for students, researchers, developers, and language professionals who want to move beyond passive use of language tools and learn how to build their own applications using the Sproochmaschinn API.

The course aims to demystify language technology, develop technical and critical skills, and encourage creative experimentation. By the end, participants will understand the platform’s architecture and how to implement and evaluate their own tools using Luxembourgish speech processing and synthesis.
