User Experience (UX): Human-Centered Design, Research, and Management
This learning track covers both fundamentals and intermediate topics of user experience (UX). Based on lectures, workshops, and collaborative project work, it allows learners to gain hands-on experience on a large variety of UX topics. This learning track includes access to the catalogue of LinkedIn Learning for several weeks of the course. The coach will provide additional learning materials to help learners grow their UX competencies. Learners are welcome to take any additional course on LinkedIn Learning they like.
Learning Outcomes
Foundational and intermediate methods of user research, especially performing interviews and observations
Communicating user research results, for example with personas and journey maps
Translating user needs into requirements
Ideation and prototyping to create design solutions (e.g., scenarios, storyboards, task models, wireframes)
Solid overview and hands-on experience with different testing methods, e.g. usability testing, user experience testing, remote
Testing, survey-based measurement of usability and UX
Creating usability test reports and deriving recommendations for follow-up iterations
Understanding the business side of UX and aligning the organization to deliver positive experiences
