Introduction to Claude: Practical AI for Everyday Professional Work

AI tools are now part of everyday professional life — and Claude is one of the most capable available. But getting started can feel daunting, especially if you have tried other tools and found them frustrating or hard to use.

This 4-hour session removes that barrier. You will start from scratch and finish with a working Claude setup tailored to your role. We cover the three products in the Claude family — Claude.ai for everyday tasks, Claude Cowork for team collaboration, and Claude Code for more advanced automation — so you understand what each one does and when to use it. You will also see a short live demonstration of Claude Design, Claude's visual-output capability, as an illustration of where the ecosystem is heading.

You will also explore how Claude differs from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot: not to rank them, but so you can make an informed choice about which tool fits your work.

The session is deliberately hands-on from the first minute. You bring your own professional context — a task you do weekly, a document you frequently write — and we use it as the raw material for your exercises. No prior AI experience is required.
