AI & Ethics

This training, developed in collaboration with the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity, is designed for a diverse audience who want to understand how AI works, how to use it productively, what ethical challenges it raises, and how to deal with them responsibly.

The programme covers technical foundations (AI techniques, generative AI tools, prompting skills, explainable AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation) as well as ethical and societal dimensions (bias, fairness, socio-economic and environmental impact, and AI regulations and recommendations).

Through interactive presentations, group discussions, and hands-on practice, participants will explore both the opportunities and the risks of AI. They will develop and present their own AI project proposal, applying what they learn during the course creatively and ethically.

By the end of the course, participants will understand AI and its ethical implications, and will be able to use AI tools in their professional context in a transparent and fair way.

Training Method

We use a spiral learning approach: participants are first introduced to the basics, and then return to key topics in more depth as the course goes on. Each day combines presentations, group discussions, and hands-on exercises. Throughout the course, participants apply what they learn to their own project, covering everything from AI basics and tools to ethics, bias, and regulation.
