AI & Ethics
This training, developed in collaboration with the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity, is designed for a diverse audience who wish to understand how AI works, how to use it productively, what the ethical challenges are, as well as how to navigate them responsibly.
The program balances technical foundations (AI techniques, generative AI tools, prompting skills, explainable AI, and customized AI assistants) with ethical and societal reflections (bias, fairness, environmental and social impact, and European AI regulations).
Through interactive presentations, group discussions, and hands-on experience, participants will explore both the opportunities and risks of AI. They will also create their own customised AI assistant and project proposal, integrating creativity, productivity, and ethical responsibility.
By the end of the course, participants will not only understand AI and its ethical implications but will also be able to apply AI tools in their professional context in a transparent, fair, and regulation-aware way.

Training Method
We use a spiral learning approach, combining interactive presentations, guided discussions, and hands-on practice. Participants are introduced to AI concepts step by step, returning to them at increasing levels of depth as the course progresses—from foundations to tools, ethics, bias, and regulation. Through this iterative process, they continuously refine their understanding while applying new insights to their own projects. Each participant will design a customized AI assistant or project proposal, gradually integrating ethical, social, and regulatory perspectives so that by the end of the course, they have both technical skills and ethical awareness for responsible AI practice.
