Effective management is crucial for team success and organizational performance. This training is designed to help participants define their role as managers, optimize their managerial skills, and develop their leadership influence. Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and structured methodologies, participants will gain the tools necessary to manage teams effectively and improve their decision-making processes.

Content

This course will include:

  1. The Role and Responsibilities of a Manager
    • Understanding the key functions and responsibilities of a manager
    • Core competencies required for effective management
    • Defining what it means to be a manager, including group brainstorming and individual reflection on personal positioning
  2. Leader vs. Manager
    • Differences between a leader and a manager
    • Characteristics of an effective leader
    • The GIVE model: Analyzing one's leadership style and influence (including group work)
  3. Mastering Delegation
    • Advantages and challenges of delegation
    • Effective delegation methods, including an interactive delegation game and self-assessment
  4. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization & Time Management
    • Core principles of the Eisenhower Matrix
    • Applying the matrix to optimize task prioritization
    • Developing a personalized action plan

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Clearly articulate the core roles and responsibilities of a manager and reflect on their own managerial positioning.
  • Differentiate between the functions of leadership and management, and recognize the characteristics of effective leaders.
  •  Apply effective delegation techniques to empower team members and improve overall performance.
  • Use the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize tasks and manage time more effectively.

Training Method

This training will incorporate a mix of interactive pedagogical activities, video-based learning resources, brainstorming sessions, individual and group work, and self-assessment exercises to enhance engagement and practical application.
