This course expands upon the foundational concepts introduced in a Python Basics course.  This course covers topics such as functions and modules, advanced data structures such as lists and dictionaries, sorting algorithms and error handling. This course is ideal for learners looking to deepen their Python skills for real-world applications.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Create complex software using functions and their own modules
  • Use complex data structures such as Lists and Dictionaries 
  • Understand and implement sorting algorithms such as "Bubble sort", "Selection sort" and "Insertion sort". 
  • Write clean code able to handle errors using exception handling
Training Method

This course is designed in an interactive format that includes theoretical presentations as well as practical exercises to be completed both during the lesson and at home. The participants will build a project throughout the week with the knowledge acquired during each day of the course.
