Frontend Fundamentals: HTML, CSS & CSS Frameworks

Learn how to create website pages and its structures by using the right HTML element. 

In this course, participants will learn how to create structured and well-organized web pages using the appropriate HTML elements. They will also explore how to style these pages using CSS, gaining an understanding of essential layout techniques such as block, inline-block, Grid, and Flex. By the end of the course, learners will be able to properly position HTML elements and apply styling effectively, all while following best practices in modern web development.

  • Discover semantic HTML elements 
  • Add images and background images. Create the website icon.  
  • Absolute and Relative paths 
  • Apply inline, internal and external CSS styles 
  • CSS selectors, ids, classes, elements 
  • CSS combinators 
  • CSS Pseudo-classes. 
  • CSS color theory 
  • Elements Positioning 
  • Box Model Theory 
  • Learn about the different layout systems such as the Grid layout and the flex layout. 
  • Use a CSS third-party packages: Bootstrap and TailwindCSS and learn how to apply them 
  • Create responsive designs 
  • Structure a web development project
  • Introduction to version control (Git + Github basics)
  • Deploying the website
Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

  • create a multi-page website by themselves (well-structured and designed)
  • debug CSS errors independently
  • know how to position the element of their webpage independently
  • make their webpage responsive to multiple devices
  • use different layouts for their webpage 
  • know how to select their elements to style them
  • create beautiful websites and deploy them.
Training Method

This course will be following Problem-Solving Techniques, participants will cooperate on replicating web pages to enhance problem solving skills in addition to the interactive learning approach, pushing the learners to figure out the missing puzzle pieces of the logic.
