From idea to successful launch: the fundamentals of product management
This learning track provides learners with a blend of theory, frameworks, and hands-on experience throughout the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch. It is designed to provide both foundational knowledge and advanced skills in product management, catering to learners at various stages of their professional journey.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the roles, responsibilities, and skills of Product Managers and Project Managers, and their impact across product and project life cycles.
- Master the phases of product and project development, including ideation, design, execution, and delivery, using methodologies like agile, scrum, kanban, and waterfall.
- Develop product strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals and deliver continuous value to users.
- Apply market research, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning frameworks to define product value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
- Leverage tools and frameworks to prioritize requirements, manage sprints, and capture user needs through epics, themes, and user stories.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and marketing, to translate product vision into actionable outcomes.
- Define and measure success using metrics such as revenue, churn, CAC, and LTV to evaluate product and marketing effectiveness.
- Integrate design thinking principles and product management frameworks to build user-centric products from concept to launch.
