Certified Professional User Experience - Foundation Level (CPUX-F)

This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of usability and UX. It is based on content from the International Usability and User Experience Qualification Board (UXQB).

The course introduces you to the basic methods of UX, for example, the human-centered design activities, user research and usability testing. It also introduces you to basic terms in UX, for example user experience, interview, persona, scenario, user requirement, user journey map, prototype and usability inspection.

The course is based on the CPUX-F curriculum, which is freely available on the UXQB website.

Learning Outcomes

Learners are able to understand the basics of human-centred design, user research, user requirements, interaction design and usability evaluation, in particular usability testing.

Training Method

The course has a practical approach to the material, with hands-on exercises, quizzes, discussions and questions. About 50% of the course time will be spent on exercises and quizzes. 

Additional Information
This course is a preparation for the CPUX-F certification. CPUX is a well-regarded and established UX certification. Certification is optional, not included in the course fee, and handled by an external, independent supplier.
